Kat & Ken had their reception at the Ft. Bliss golf complex off Railroad Dr. We barely had time to get some formal couples photos on the course after the actual wedding. Things were further complicated because Ken had just been released from the hospital the day before for an emergency surgery on a bum knee he's been having problems with lately. He was wheeled about the course in his wheelchair by his younger brother. In this shot, he invited his bride to sit on his lap, on his non-operated leg. Though she protested, she relented and I took this shot while their family was joking with them.

The shot was lit up by an alternate flash about 10 feet to my left. The shot was taken long and horizontally to accomodate any wording that they might need in the empty space. Finally, the handles to the wheelchair were blended into the background so it seems like he's simply sitting down.
