Transmountain Road.

Lexus' parents and I had discussed various locations for her formal photos and hadn't decided until after the Mass. We had originally planned to shoot at the riverbanks near Sunland Park Casino, since the mass was done about a mile away. But, the lack of water and the abundance of electrical wires would've made the shots difficult to work with in post-production. Since Lex and her crew had to be at her home near Franklin High at a very specific time, we settled on going to Transmountain, a decision made easier since it was only breezy, not windy with pretty clouds in the sky.

Lex is standing on the concrete barricade at the overlook. Her chambelan and another friend are holding her steady from behind so she doesn't fall. I blended in the tops of the barricades at the lower corners to add to the illusion that she's floating. The rest of the photo is natural.
