Rose did not have a traditional quinceanera in that she did not have a mass. Instead, to keep the original quince package intact, we shot her two different times before her day: once about a month and a half just by herself to get photos for her invitations and a giant banner (prepared and printed by someone else), and the second time about a week before her day, half by herself and half as family photos with her sisters, brother and parents. I printed a set of wallet sized prints that I gave out to her guests (we took these also from the package to defray cost to the parents). On the day, then, we took Rose, her chambelan, and some of her friends out to the desert to take her formal photos.

Image was sharpened, and random bits of trash were erased, and the color of the red sand that was washed out by my flash was re-saturated back into the photo. Rose and the sky are all natural colors.
