I sometimes take an assistant to help me with equipment. On this day, a friend of mine asked to come with me to see what I do during a wedding ceremony. I put him to work by placing him in one spot with specific orders to keep his eye on the bride. This freed me to be able to move about the church to find other shots. While reviewing the photos, he mentioned that this shot, cropped to about 25% of the original shot, he was thinking of deleting. It quickly became one of my favorite shots he had taken.
