On a recent business trip to San Diego, I took a detour to the La Jolla beach, where I found this couple in the act of proposing to each other surrounded by their friends and family. I offered to take this shot with one of their friend's cameras. Afterwards, I asked if I could pose the couple on the beach by themselves.

I requested they send me this photo so I could edit it to my liking. Light and color were balanced and several distracting elements were removed (a few people in the background by the staircase and various backpacks and purses in the foreground).
