"The Shoes"

When I first spoke with this bride, she told me how she was excited to have bought "The Shoes", those that were Perfect for the day. During the day, I took special care to lead her in ways that did not nick or mar "The Shoes", especially since the posed photos were taken in the desert (she wore sandals for that shoot). By 8:30 pm, I found the shoes in the middle of the floor at the hall that was rented for the reception (no dance, only close family dinner). I took a quick shot of the shoes where they lay and showed it to her, asking her jokingly, "Soooo, what happened to the shoes?"

She so loved the shot, she grabbed her bouquet to add to the composition of the shot, which you see here.

This shot eventually became an 8x10 framed print that I believe went up in her office.
