This shot was taken at Our Lady of the Valley. I had made the shot black and white to show the clean lines of the church and solitude of the couple getting married. The stained glass was left in color to exaggerate the lines.

Only color isolation on the stained glass and cropping to further narrow the photo.

sFx like these are free if I "see" them in the shot. I ask clients not to request too much special effects because then shots like this lose their "punch".

I was able to get this shot because the couple had asked permission from the priest the night before to have a photographer capture the events. ALWAYS ask the residing priest if he has any restrictions for photographers/videographers. This church's priest only request that I not attract undue attention to myself throughout the ceremony. When I asked the priest afterwards, I was happy to hear he didn't even know I had shot anything!
