The day before Christmas, 2011, snow had fallen throughout the night and day. Regardless, the wedding I had been contracted for continued. The couple had originally wanted to take photos at the top of the center hill (next to the 18th hole at Butterfield Trail golf course). The bride still accepted to go outside of the ballroom, if only for 15 minutes, to take the group formal shots. I was able to sneak out at 8 pm to take a longer exposure of the course. This shot is a half second exposure (hand-held), then color corrected on the computer. No extra light was needed as the lights from Ft. Bliss behind the course was more than sufficient.
